Yes. CC Plates is a DVLA registered number plate supplier. Every plate is made to British Standard BS AU 145e with the correct font, spacing and our supplier details, so they are road legal and MOT ready.

It is the law. Every registered supplier must see proof of ID (driving licence or passport) and proof you own the registration (V5C, V778, V750 or DVLA letter) before making plates. It helps stop number plate cloning. You upload photos at checkout. What we need.

Usually the same working day. We email you as soon as they are verified and your plates go straight into production. If anything is unclear we email you a secure link to send a new photo.

Your plate shows your registration exactly as it is on your V5C or certificate, laid out to the legal DVLA spacing.

Yes. Any mix of letters and numbers up to 10 characters works, so names, nicknames and words are all fine.

Yes. In step 2 choose Front only or Rear only and you will only pay for one plate.

3D gel plates have raised, glossy resin letters. 4D plates use solid laser-cut acrylic letters fixed to the plate for a deeper, sharper look. See all styles on our plate styles page.

4D uses laser-cut 3mm acrylic letters for a bold, crisp finish. 5D takes those same acrylic letters and adds a glossy gel layer on top, so you get extra depth and shine. Both are made to the legal standard.

5D is our deepest finish: laser-cut 4D acrylic letters topped with a glossy gel layer. It combines the sharp edges of 4D with the shine of 3D gel.

Standard car plates (520 x 111mm), 4x4 square plates (279 x 203mm) and motorbike plates (229 x 178mm). Need something different? Get in touch.

Yes. Add a border in black, silver, lime, red or blue, and a side badge with a UK, England, Scotland or Wales flag, or a Green EV strip.

Very close. The builder shows your exact text, spacing, style, border and badge. Colours can look slightly different depending on your screen.

Every plate is made to order and usually dispatched within 1 to 2 working days, then sent by tracked post. See our delivery information.

Yes. Add express production at the last step and we will make and dispatch your plates the next working day.

Yes. You will get an email with tracking details as soon as your plates are on their way.

We currently deliver to UK addresses only.

Because every plate is personalised and made to your design, we cannot accept returns if you change your mind. Please check your text and spacing carefully before ordering. See our returns policy.

Contact us within [7] days of delivery with your order number and a photo. If they are damaged, faulty or not what you ordered because of our mistake, we will send a free replacement or give you a full refund.
